Just got the letter this morning: I've not been shortlisted for the post of Anglican Chaplain at Newcastle. It's a big blow as, on paper, I thought that I wuld have been pretty certain to be shortlisted; experience in the right kind of environment, right sort of interests ... can't understand it and it's tough having to absorb an outright rejection. So think of me as I wonder where we're going to live and what I will be doing come July/August. Meanwhile the MA still calls ...
