But PC users with broadband should think about ti: it de-localises your data storage so that you can access it wherever you have internet access ... I have written about it before and I reckon it's the next big thing.
Significant? Probably. The good back up routines probably mean your data is safer than if you keep it. Imagine being able to share pictures straight from where you keep them normally. Or having access to materials for use with clients where they are without needing to carry data drives etc [and risk forgetting them or losing them] ... Your christening enquiry presentation just sitting there waiting to be shown in your parishioners home ...
