Church agencies to join major climate change coalition

Christian Aid, TEAR Fund and CAFOD are all joining The Climate Movement along with Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, Network for Social Change, Oxfam, People and Planet, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the Women’s Institute and the World Wildlife Fund. I'm pleased that this will help to link in the Christian public's mind the evironment and issues of development and poverty, at least I hope it will.

"The Stop Climate Chaos initiative, as it will be known publicly, is due to be launched “in spectacular fashion” at 09:00 on the 1 September at Jubilee Gardens, near the famous London Eye, say organisers."

Dear Sir/Madame,
I have been producing a climate change blog for about the last month. The blog is entitled 'Climate Change Action' and is dedicated to highlighting key issues relating to climate change policy. There are also two sister sites, 'Climate Change Resources' and 'Climate Change News', the former offering links to all the documents used in the composition of my main blog and the latter a regularly updated collection of climate change stories in the news.

The main articles published so far in climate change action include: gas flaring in Nigeria, aviation and UK climate policy, distributed energy systems, the UK climate policy review , and the environmental impact of biofuels.

Please take a look and decide if the site is relevant enough (i wouldn't have e-mailed if i thought it wasn't) and good enough (I can but try) to be worth linking to/syndicating/mentioning on your site.

Yours truly,
Calvin Jones

p.s i would be more than happy to place a reciprocal link on my site if you decide to link to it.
