Law against hatred could hit wrong target, bishops warn

The bishops are concerned and intend to give the government a hard time in the Lords'. I may not agree with the house of Lords' constitutional role or the Anglican place within it but I hope they use the priviledge well!
the Bishops were expected to warn the Government that the law could hit the wrong target. "They ... are concerned that in the Government’s desire to criminalise incitement to religious hatred, it could miss the target and hit free speech instead.
