This has the look of a conspiracy theory but the fact is that RFID tags do have an enormous potential for surveillance. Combined with ID cards it starts to look truly frightening. Big brother may not watch you but he could if he wanted at the touch of a switch and loads of other people could too. It really does make going off-grid look a very attractive option.
