I've only just started to be aware of this issue: that US law now enable software to be patented and there are proposal that the EU does the same. There's a stiff opposition in Europe and this article from the US seems to expose some of the issues: that things that are already in the public domain might be patentable [like patenting fire or the wheel]. Or at least I think that's the issue ...
Nous like scouse or French -oui? We wee whee all the way ... to mind us a bunch of thunks. Too much information? How could that be?
