Beckett upbeat on climate change

BBC NEWS | Politics |: "Margaret Beckett said public opinion was bringing change regardless of who had won the presidential election." Let's hope she's right; check out the article for further 'evidence'. One of the reasons is "American companies operating around the world would be affected by the decisions of other governments,". Another one is the possibility that the UK government might have the ear of the USA admin: "Mr Avery suggested global warming was a "testing ground" for the influence of Tony Blair's strong relationship with the US Government."
