It is good news to hear that "people in the UK are more concerned about climate change than any other social issue, above the threat of terrorism (the second biggest concern), failing school standards and NHS waiting lists." I have to confess I was surprised at first to learn that. On reflection maybe less so. The sting is in the tail:"Yet, while our homes are responsible for 150 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually, one in two people (49 per cent) are oblivious to the fact that their homes are contributing to climate change." So the big issue is education and making mitigatory steps easier and more prominent. And presumably like all these things to present it positivley rather than dourly, puritanically and in a finger-wagging manner. DO you think we can do that. It would bea huge shame to waste all that goodwill.
News: British public ignorant of climate change harm from their own homes:
Nous like scouse or French -oui? We wee whee all the way ... to mind us a bunch of thunks. Too much information? How could that be?

Interesting. Seems like a good subject for an article in the church magazine. I haven't done a lot on that subject so far.
