School wind turbines -the future

THis is how it wil happen that we may become a less fossil-fuel dependent nation: the coming together of the public and private organisations with the realisation that they can save money by not importing electricity from the grid and even exporting to it. "Head teachers argue that turbines are a valuable source of renewable energy, cutting fuel bills and freeing cash for books, computers and other necessities. The 50kW turbine at Stan-chester Community School, in Stoke Sub Hamdon, will save the school up to �7,000 a year by offsetting its energy needs and generating funds from the sale of surplus electricity"

That's if they can beat the Nimbys.
