Shape of faith to come?

I knew things in France were looking difficult vis-a-vis rural church life, but this ... "priests are scarce in the Lot valley now, so scarce that Fr Bouzou has no fewer than 40 churches to look after. It would be a virtually impossible task, but for the fact that many of them have almost no congregation.
