Interesting. It looks to me like the IRA and Sinn Fein have realised that they have been losing public opinion among their core supporters. A BAnk heist and a murder cover-up by the IRA have simply made that end of the republican movement look like gangsters and Sinn Fein like apoogists for serious crime. So there has to be pretty quick re-establishment of credibility. O hope it's genuine and not simply forced with crossed fingers behond their backs.
