Naively, I thought that gas plasma screens would have been, like lcd screens, a better bet for lower power consumption. So I was shocked to discover that it ain't so... Apparently they can use up to 4 times the ammount of leccy of a crt screen. Frightening when you aggregate it for the whole nation. It truly is our gadgets that is a problem. What a challenge for a neophiliac gadget lover like me. Good job I don't have the income to indulge.
